Ninja Japanese Restaurant in Langley City

I'm not sure if there is new ownership recently but the last few times have been a less than pleasant experience. When dining in,the waitress was very rude when I asked for a water instead of the soft drink she gave me because it tasted watered down. I did not request a new drink, or for it to be taken off the bill (just asked for a water instead), yet when it came time to pay she made a point to say that the soft drink was still on the bill because "nobody else complained." Another time we ordered take out, and after a long wait, they forgot the lamb shank and we had to drive back to get it. They did not offer to deliver even though it was their error.I will not be giving Galinis my business anymore, no matter how good the food may or may not be. Customer service and treating customers with appreciation and respect is also an important aspect.

Good portion sizes and flavor. They have so much variety. I've dined in and had take out and was equally as impressed with each experience.

First time at this restaurant. I would say it's one of the best in Langley / Surrey area. Nice atomosphere and decors. Food isn't overly greasy and reasonably priced for Greek food. Friendly staff.

Greek food is one of those tried and true comfort foods, and Galini does not disappoint. The staff was excellent, food completely up to standards, and the entire experience was excellent. We ended up there with a table of 8 that they accommodated with no problem.Would absolutely recommend stopping in here if you're looking for quality Greek food. The experience was worth it!

first photo was what I ordered through doordash. second photo was what I got for $63. total ripoff DO NOT EVER ORDER THROUGH THIS SCAM SERVICE. We even called the customer support because the restaurant wouldn't honour our order. This place used to be great.The only worse experience I ever had was my mother's cooking. Now I am left never wanting to order from here or through doordash again.

Food has gone dow hill since my last pre covid visit. Server was unfriendly to say the least until we were paying the bill . Overpriced for.mediocre food.

We had a large party (they could accommodate 23 during COVID-19). Though our main guest was one hour late for our reservation, the waitress (Agnes) was patient and allowed everyone to mingle before meal orders were taken. The large portioned meals all came out roughly at the same time. All guests were able to eat at the same time. There was confusion over the bill on our end but she was so patient and professional in handling the situation. The quality of food and service was beyond compare. Very satisfied!

Great food, comes out fast and hot! Wonderful service from the staff here. Minus one star due to the level of noise-- hard to hear people sitting across from you.

Thank you to George and the staff at Galinis for making a delicious meal for our family and friends on our wedding day on very short notice. You were professional and kind and the food was great. We look forward to future meals at your restaurant.

Big portion with reasonable price! The cocktails were quite cheap as well. We ordered a hummus dip and a two person platter for three people, and we still couldn't finish everything. The two person platter had a bit of everything. The food quality was good, but not exceptional. That's why I'm rating it 4/5. Definitely will be back.

This was my first time here and found the interior warm and comfortable . The server was absolutely professional and friendly and our meals arrived quickly . I had the Greek charbroiled ribs with rice , steamed veg, potatoes . The ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious....the seasoning was perfect . The rice is plentiful but a bit bland and there was only 1 half of a potato on my plate also bland. I was expecting Greek roast potatoes but got a plain tasting seasonless potato . The Greek meals come with soup and salad before the main . The soup was supposed to be lentil but was more similar to a watered down canned beef veg. My friend had rack of lamb and loved it but had the same impression about the rest of her meal ...bland . We both enjoyed our visit and the great service we got though I am not sure I would rush back to eat .

First time at Galini and it was a great experience! We wanted to try something new and support a local business after covid19, and we're happy to have found a new favourite restaurant! We called just an hour ahead for a last minute reservation and they were able to fit us in! Customer service was great, as well as food quality and portion sizes! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Great food, great service; reasonably priced. Family of 4, bottle of wine and 2 martinis $200; but could easily have been $75-$100 w/o drinks

More expensive Greek food compared to other Greek restaurants but you can tell they put great quality in their food. Every single bite was flavourful, even the pita I enjoyed eating and I often don't bother eating it when it comes to other Greek restaurants. The servers are nice and the owners often come around making sure you're okay. I do recommend calling in ahead of time for reservations as they are often very busy
